Hello, my name is Mrs. Valente and this is my 7th year at St. Joseph School. I have a BA in Elementary Education and American studies with a minor in history from Saint Peter's College. I started teaching 7th and 8th grade literature and social studies in a catholic school in Newark in 2001. From there I taught in the public school setting in both 1st and 2nd grade. I did take 5 years off to take care of my 5 children, before returning to teaching at Saint Joseph School. I spent my first 5 years here teaching 2nd grade and this is now my second year teaching 3rd. Teaching is my passion and there is nothing I won't do to help my students achieve success.
