Dear Saint Joseph School Community,
I would like to wish all of our Saint Joseph School Community a safe, happy and holy Christmas
and holiday season.
As I write this letter, just before Christmas break, perhaps more than ever, I’m thinking we can
all appreciate the need for a pause. I’m pleased that we are still open and thriving in spite of the
reality of the pandemic. So, I thank you for adhering to public health and safety measures that
have helped us ensure that Saint Joseph School remains a safe place for our students and staff.
When I reflect on my short time as principal of what I consider to be an awesome school, I find
myself to be ever so grateful to all who have contributed to our successes. There were some
challenges but the rewards far outweighed those challenges.
I believe we have a unique place for students to learn. Thank you to all of the Saint Joseph
School community who continue to promote us in a positive manner. I sincerely thank you for
journeying with Saint Joseph School. May each of you and your families enjoy a beautiful
Christmas season. It may be less social and less focused on material things, much simpler in
every way, but definitely focused on family. The very first Christmas was like that.
My prayer is that each of us continues to be people of faith and hope who celebrate the birth of
our Lord and Savior. He shared a powerful message of love and salvation.
Merry Christmas to all and have a safe, happy and holy Christmas Season.
Sincerely,
Ms. Joanne McKnight, M.Ed.
Saint Joseph School, Principal
